There are places where time slows and the air thickens with the weight of untold stories. The Swiss Straw Museum, housed in the stately Villa Isler in Wohlen, is one of them. Stepping inside, one leaves the hustle and bustle of modernity behind and enters a sphere of quiet reverence. This is not the noisy silence of oblivion, but the collected silence of a workshop after the craftsman's departure; a silence in which tools still feel warm from the touch of hands, and the material remembers their pressure.
